        Joseph Hance (1716-1776) and his wife Ann (Johns) Hance (1721-1745) also remained in Cliffs Calvert, Maryland their entire life. Joseph Hance was born on September 10, 1716 to
        Benjamin and Mary Hance. Ann Johns was born on December 28, 1721 to the parents of Isaac
        and Ann (Galloway) Johns. Joseph and Ann were married on January 13, 1737 and had a
        daughter named Elizabeth Hance (1741-1833). Ann died in 1745 at the early age of 24, just
        three years after the birth of their daughter. Isaac was about 60 years old when he died,
        sometime after 1776.
